Description

As a complement to the wide range of steel storage tanks and tank systems, Liquidynamics is now offering double wall tank systems that are ideal for use in storing and transferring engine oil, gear oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid and anti-freeze. These tanks are UL2258 listed and are suitable for storing combustible fluids with a flashpoint of 130° F or greater and therefore cannot be used for storing gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene or any similar flammable fluids.

The primary inner tank is a blow molded, high density polyethylene (HDPE) which goes through a fluorination treatment to improve permeation resistance.
The secondary containment is constructed of galvanized steel which is galvanized on both sides for maximum corrosion resistance. It is then welded and edged using the latest state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques.
A visual leak indicator is provided in each tank to allow visual monitoring of the inner tank integrity.
Fittings are cast aluminum for greater strength and improved sealing capability.
Tanks have four 2” openings and include a tank level gauge and audible vent alarm to help prevent over filling of tank.
Tanks are equipped with an extremely rugged floor stand which is also galvanized to ensure corrosion resistance.

NOTE: Liquidynamics double wall tanks are designed for use with fluids such as lubricating oils, transmission fluids, hydraulic fluids, gear oils and similar fluids that are rated as class II or class III combustible and have a flash point greater than 130° F. The double wall tank cannot be used for any class I flammable fluids such as gasoline, windshield washer fluid or any fluids that are rated as class I flammable. These double wall tanks are subject to local building codes and approval by the applicable Authority Having Jurisdiction.
